Tạo đĩa sao lưu đầy đủ driver dành cho Windows XP với DriverPacks Base

Đối với những nhân viên kỹ thuật máy tính, hoặc bộ phận quản lý hệ thống máy tính cho 1 công ty nào đó… do tính chất yêu cầu của công việc, họ sẽ thường xuyên phải cài lại hệ điều hành cho người sử dụng.

Và những khó khăn thường thấy nhất của họ là việc tìm driver thích hợp cho nhiều dòng mainboard khác nhau như card mạng, sound, card màn hình … vì phần lớn người dùng không bao giờ giữ lại đĩa driver nguyên bản đi kèm với mainboard. Trong bài viết sau, Quản Trị Mạng sẽ giới thiệu với các bạn cách khắc phục điều này với công cụ hỗ trợ sẵn có của DriverPacks.

Trước tiên, copy tất cả các file từ đĩa cài đặt Windows XP tới 1 thư mục bất kỳ nào đó, ở đây là C:\XPSOURCE:

Tải chương trình DriverPacks Base và đặt file tự giải nén đó ở 1 thư mục khác, ví dụ như C:\DriverPacks. Chạy file DriverPacks Base và giải nén toàn bộ file đi kèm tới thư mục vừa chọn:

Truy cập vào trang DriverPacks và tải gói driver phù hợp nhất. Mỗi gói driver dạng nén này sẽ có đủ cho Chipset, CPU, Graphics, LAN, MassStorage, Sound và WLAN. Copy những gói này tới thư mục C:\DriverPacks\DriverPacks (không cần phải giải nén, giữ nguyên dạng *.7z).

Tiếp theo, chạy file DPs_BASE.exe tại thư mục C:\DriverPacks. Chọn ngôn ngữ phù hợp và Next. Khi chuyển tới trang hỏi bạn về vị trí của nền tảng chính, hãy chắc chắn đang chọn “disc”, sau đó nhấn Next và trỏ tới C:\XPSOURCE. Chương trình sẽ tự động nhận diện phiên bản hệ điều hành. Bấm tiếp Next:

Chọn các gói bạn cần ghép và bấm Next. Chọn tiếp “method 1” > Next:

Bấm Slipstream để bắt đầu quá trình. Nếu di chuyển tới thư mục gốc C:\XPSOURCE, bạn sẽ thấy có 1 thư mục “$OEM$” đang được tạo. Sau khi quá trình này kết thúc, hãy ghi toàn bộ thư mục “D” từ “Source Folder \$OEM$\$1\” vào đĩa CD.

Như vậy là bạn đã hoàn thành quá trình tạo đĩa sao lưu tất cả driver mới nhất dành cho Windows XP. Nếu muốn ghi ra đĩa DVD thì chỉ cần tải về, giải nén và ghi thư mục D đó vào đĩa là ổn. Tại sao chúng ta lại làm những bước trên là do gói driverpacks nguyên bản có dung lượng lên đến 1.3GB, nhưng khi sử dụng DriverPacks Base thì chỉ mất đúng 700MB. Chúc các bạn thành công!

Cách chọn sách điện tử

E-book là sự kết hợp hoàn hảo giữa công nghệ và cách tiếp thu trí thức qua sách vở. Trong tương lai, sách điện tử (e-book) sẽ trở thành xu hướng mới trong cách đọc và tiếp nhận thông tin. Nhờ e-book, học sinh lứa tuổi ô mai sẽ không phải mang vác cặp sách nặng tới hàng kilôgam tới trường.

Trước khi quyết định đầu tư cho mình hoặc cho con em mình một quyển sách điện tử, bạn cần cân nhắc tới các yếu tố sau đây.

Định dạng file kế thừa: Chiếc e-book của bạn có thể không đọc được sách điện tử nếu bạn không nắm được những định dạng tệp tin mà nó hỗ trợ.

Tùy từng loại e-book mà định dạng file hỗ trợ có thể bị giới hạn (.LIT, .PDF, hoặc .AZW). Người ta gọi đó là quản lý quyền kỹ thuật số (DRM), một kỹ thuật được nhà sản xuất áp dụng để kiểm soát những nội dung mà người dùng đọc trên máy.

E-book hỗ trợ càng nhiều định dạng file càng tốt, và nên chọn thiết bị hỗ trợ những định dạng file mà bạn thường dùng nhất.

Giá cả: Với nhiều người, mức giá 299USD của Amazon Kiddle và Sony Reader Touch Edition vẫn được coi là đắt. Trừ khi bạn muốn sở hữu một thiết bị đọc sách chuyên nghiệp kiểu như Kiddle, nếu không bạn vẫn có thể đọc sách điện tử trên những thiết bị cầm tay như Smartphone.

Độ phân giải màn hình: Chắc hẳn bạn cũng không thấy dễ chịu khi phải căng mắt đọc sách trên những thiết bị có màn hình nhỏ và độ phân giải thấp.

Bạn nên chọn những thiết bị có màn hình lớn, chẳng hạn như Kindle DX (9,7-inch) tất nhiên giá cả cũng sẽ khác so với phiên bản màn hình 6-inch. Bạn nên chọn những thiết bị cho phép điều chỉnh kích cỡ chữ.

Kích cỡ: Sách điện tử hiện nay thường có chiều dài khoảng 8-inch, và nặng chừng 280g. Đừng mua những thiết bị lớn hơn và nặng hơn, trừ khi bạn cảm thấy không bất tiện, bởi một trong những ưu điểm lớn nhất của e-book chính là tính cơ động. Nếu không có nhu cầu đặc biệt, một chiếc e-book với màn hình 6-inch là thích hợp nhất.

Ánh sáng nền: Những thiết bị e-book trước đây thường không có ánh sáng nền nên bạn không thể đọc sách trong đêm tối. Điều đó khá bất tiện.

Nếu bạn nhất thiết cần tới tính năng này thì nên lựa chọn Sony Reader 700 (tích hợp sẵn đèn chiếu sáng).

Thời lượng dụng pin: Không như các thiết bị điện tử cầm tay, e-book có thời lượng sử dụng pin khá ấn tượng. Các sản phẩm e-book của Amazon và Sony có thể dùng hàng vài ngày mới phải sạc pin, đặc biệt máy Sony PRS-600 có thể dùng liên tiếp 2 tuần.

Truyền file không dây: Nếu sử dụng cáp USB để truyền sách số, tạp chí hoặc những nội dung khác từ PC sang e-book, e rằng sẽ khá bất tiện, nhất là khi bạn không ngồi gần máy tính.

Dung lượng lưu trữ: Hầu hết người dùng đều cảm thấy thoải mái với dung lượng lưu trữ hiện nay của e-book. Chẳng hạn như Kiddle có thể lưu được 1.500 cuốn sách, trong khi Sony PRS-300SC lưu được 350 cuốn.

Nếu bạn muốn dung lượng lưu trữ nhiều hơn, hãy chắc rằng sản phẩm bạn định mua hỗ trợ khả năng mở rộng bộ nhớ ngoài.

Watermark Master là một ứng dụng đặc biệt bổ sung các dấu ấn bản quyền cho các file video và hình ảnh. Watermark Master là một trình biên tập video đa chức năng được chủ yếu nhắm tới việc thêm các dấu ấn bản quyền cho các file hình ảnh và video. Giao diện rõ ràng và sự xuất hiện của trình thuật sĩ làm cho chương trình trở nên dễ dàng để làm việc thậm chí cho những người không có những hiểu biết sâu sắc.

Chương trình có tất cả chức năng cần thiết cho việc biên tập hình ảnh và video: các thiết lập bộ lọc rộng lớn (bao gồm Deinterlace), 6 thuật toán lấy mẫu lại, tính năng điều chỉnh màu sắc, khả năng lật, xoay, hình ảnh nét hay mềm, khả năng thiết lập thời gian và nhiều thứ khác. Nó cũng bao gồm chức năng Grabber (việc tạo thumbnails và galleries hình ảnh của các file video) và khả năng xử lý file như khi chũng thêm vào một thư mục (được gọi là chức năng theo dõi thư mục).

Ứng dụng cho phép tạo tất cả các loại dấu ấn bản quyền có thể nghĩ ra được: văn bản, hình ảnh, khu vực mờ, hình chữ nhật, video, GIF chuyển động, creeping line và audio. Thời gian hiển thị có thể được ấn định cho bất kì loại dấu ấn bản quyền nào. Trong vùng Preview tất cả các dấu ấn bản quyền có thể được hiển thị cùng với hoặc không cùng với thời gian hiển thị của nó trong tài khoản.

Watermark Master được tối ưu cho việc xử lý cùng một lúc (xử lý một số lượng lớn các file trong một lần). Một thư mục với các file có thể được thêm như là file nguồn. File trong thư mục có thể được xử lý bằng mặt nạ tại đây; xử lý đệ quy thư mục con có thể được kích hoạt trong trường hợp cần thiết. Kĩ thuật xây dựng linh hoạt của tên file được xuất ra cho phép duy trì hệ thống gốc của thư mục bất chấp sự phức tạp của bản thân nó.

Chương trình được mong đợi cao hơn tất cả cho việc tạo gallery hình ảnh và video với việc thêm vào mỗi khung vài thông tin về tác giả. Nó cũng có thể được đề nghị sử dụng chuyển đổi cùng lúc các file video từ một định dạng thành những định dạng khác và tách DVD. Bên cạnh đó Watermark Master có thể được sử dụng cho việc tạo nhiều hiệu ứng dựng phim khác nhau.

1. Chạy chương trình:

Lần đầu, chúng ta sẽ bắt đầu tạo logo mới cho đoạn phim của mình . Ở đây, các bạn sẽ tạo sẵn cho mình nhiều logo, và sau này, mỗi lần thêm logo vào các đoạn phim, sẽ không cần tạo nữa.



2. Đặt tên cho logo:

Chúng ta sẽ đặt tên cho logo của mình, các bạn chọn như hình dưới.

3. Thêm các thành phần vào logo.

Theo hình bên dưới, chúng ta sẽ có rất nhiều tùy chọn, như thêm dòng text hoặc thêm hình ảnh logo vào đoạn phim....

4. Edit logo:

+ Sau khi thêm dòng text, chúng ta sẽ bắt đầu hiệu chỉnh

Có rất nhiều tùy chọn: Vị trí của dòng text, size chữ, kiểu font, màu, độ mờ (tương tự như trong Word)

+ Tiếp theo là thêm hình ảnh vào logo. Cũng tương tự như các bước ở trên thôi. Tuy nhiên, ở bước này, chúng ta cần quan tâm một ít đến mục hiệu ứng cho hình ảnh trên logo đó là mục Transparent.



Trong ô Options:

- Gradient Type: Chọn hiệu ứng cho bức ảnh.

- Max/Min Value: Sẽ ảnh hưởng đến độ mờ (độ nổi) của bức ảnh trên màn hình của đoạn video.

5. Save logo:

Sau khi đã tạo được một logo ưng ý, các bạn save lại nhé.

6. Sử dụng logo:

- Thế là xong bước tạo logo, chúng ta sử dụng thôi. Rất đơn giản và nhanh chóng. Chạy chương trình, chọn như hình dưới để mở logo đã tạo sẵn.



- Chúng ta sẽ mở đoạn video clip muốn đưa logo vào.

Ảnh dưới đây đã được chỉnh sửa kích cỡ. Hãy click vào đây để xem toàn bộ ảnh. Ảnh gốc có kích thước 773x680.

- Chọn nơi lưu lại, ngồi đợi cho quá trình hoàn tất, có thể sẽ hơi lâu đấy, vì là biên tập video mà.

Biến điện thoại Android thành điểm phát sóng Wifi

Với một chiếc điện thoại Android, bạn có thể truy cập Internet trên máy tính của bạn bằng cách thức có tên Tethering. Với cách này, bạn sẽ kết nối điện thoại của bạn thông qua cáp USB vào máy tính của mình, sử dụng công nghệ kết nối dữ liệu của điện thoại để duyệt web trên máy tính của bạn. Đây được xem là giải pháp vô cùng hữu ích cho những nơi không có điểm phát sóng Wifi.

Tuy nhiên, có một phương pháp hữu ích đó là biến điện thoại của bạn thành một điểm phát sóng Wifi (hotspot) để máy tính của bạn có thể truy cập Internet mà không cần phải sử dụng cáp kết nối. Nó cũng giúp bạn có thể chia sẻ kết nối Internet của điện thoại với nhiều máy tính khác nhau.

Lưu ý: Để sử dụng cách thức biến điện thoại Android thành một điểm phát sóng Wifi, bạn cần nâng cấp lên phiên bản Android 2.2 (mã Froyo).

Barnacle Wi-Fi Tether
Đầu tiên, bạn cần tiến hành tải ứng dụng có tên Barnacle Wi-Fi Tether được cung cấp hoàn toàn miễn phí tại địa chỉ http://tinyurl.com/22q7uy6 hoặc http://tinyurl.com/2b6ss8n
Sau khi cài đặt Barnacle Wi-Fi Tether vào điện thoại của bạn vào điện thoại của bạn, bạn sẽ thấy một biểu tượng “Start” lớn ở trên đầu màn hình làm việc. Các tùy chọn mã hóa không dây WEP 40-bit hoặc 104-bit (ít an toàn hơn WPA), nhưng nó vẫn còn rất quan trọng để mã hóa việc duyệt web của bạn bằng cách thiết lập một mật khẩu ở đây.

Cuối cùng, bạn có thể thay đổi các thiết lập kênh nếu bạn thấy rằng bạn không thể kết nối với điện thoại từ máy tính của bạn.

Một khi bạn đã thực hiện tất cả những thay đổi thích hợp, bạn tiến hành khởi động các kết nối không dây bằng cách nhấp vào nút “Start”.

Sau khi cài đặt ứng dụng vào điện thoại, bạn sẽ thấy logi Wifi màu xanh lá cây xuất hiện trên thanh chức năng của màn hình Android.

Từ màn hình làm việc, bạn click chuột lên Menu và Setup, bạn có thể thay đổi các tùy chọn sau:
- Option to use Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi encryption settings
- SSID settings
- Option to change the Wi-Fi frequency channel
- Enabling Access Control
- Notification settings

Cũng như Barnacle Wi-Fi Tether quan trọng là phải tiến hành đặt một tên SSID dễ nhớ và sử dụng một mật khẩu mạnh.

Ngoài ra, nó rất hữu ích để bật Access Control. Tùy chọn này cho phép bạn quyết định xem bạn muốn một máy tính cụ thể để kết nối hay không.

Sau khi bạn đã thực hiện những thay đổi thích hợp cho các tùy chọn, trở lại màn hình chính và bấm vào biểu tượng Wi-Fi màu xanh. Các ứng dụng sẽ bắt đầu phát sóng một tín hiệu không dây.

Tiếp theo, bạn tiến hành dùng máy tính của bạn để kết nối vào mạng Wifi đang phát, bạn sẽ thấy mạng này xuất hiện trong thông báo của điện thoại sử dụng Android.

Tuy nhiên, nếu kết nối không được hoàn tất, bạn phải tiến hành cấp quyền truy cập máy tính của bạn để kết nối dữ liệu với điện thoại, bạn phải nhấp vào tên máy tính của bạn trong bảng thông báo cho phép truy cập trên điện thoại của bạn.

Một khi máy tính của bạn được kết nối đúng với sóng Wifi, quá trình làm việc sẽ bắt đầu truyền tải dữ liệu. Để ngăn chặn tín hiệu không dây, bạn click vào biểu tượng Wi-Fi màu xám.

Nhìn chung, cả 2 ứng dụng đều hoạt động tương tự như nhau, tuy nhiên việc Barnacle Wi-Fi Tether được cung cấp trên kho ứng dụng AppBrain đâm ra là khó khăn trong việc cập nhật so với Android Wi-Fi Tether vốn được cung cấp trên Google.

Tạo file PDF từ một văn bản Word

PDF (Portable Document Format, định dạng tài liệu di động) là một định dạng văn bản do Adobe System đưa ra hồi năm 1993 nhằm tạo thuận tiện cho nhu cầu trao đổi văn bản. Ngày nay, PDF đã trở thành một định dạng văn bản phổ cập và không còn là một định dạng độc quyền của Adobe nữa.

Việc tạo một file PDF giờ đây cũng trở nên đơn giản, không còn phụ thuộc vào các công cụ ứng dụng của Adobe. Ngay trong Microsoft Word 2007 cũng được tích hợp công cụ để tạo file PDF từ một văn bản Word.

Để chuyển một văn bản Word thành file PDF, bạn mở văn bản Word đó ra, nhấn lên nút Office, chọn lệnh Save As trên menu xổ xuống, rồi chọn lệnh PDF or XPS trong danh sách Save a copy of the document.

Trên màn hình Publish as PDF or XPS, bạn chọn folder lưu giữ file PDF sắp tạo, đặt tên file PDF đó.

Bạn có thể chọn Optimize for (tối ưu hóa cho): Standard (xuất bản online và in ấn) hay Minimum size (kích thước file tối thiểu, chỉ dùng sử dụng trên Internet).

Bạn cũng có thể nhấn nút Options… để chọn các tùy chọn theo ý mình.

Cuối cùng, bạn nhấn nút Publish để tạo thành file PDF.

Chơi nhiều file nhạc với Windows Media Player

Khi bạn click kép vào một file nhạc nào đó trong một cửa sổ Explorer (như Computer, Windows Explorer), trình Windows Media Player (WMP) tích hợp sẵn trong Windows sẽ được gọi ra chơi nhạc cho bạn nghe. Nhưng mặc định nó chỉ chơi file nhạc đó rồi thôi. Muốn nghe tiếp file nhạc nào, bạn lại phải click kép lên file đó.

Nếu muốn cho WMP 11 (Windows Vista) và WMP 12 (Windows 7) tự động chơi lần lượt các file nhạc mình muốn nghe lần này, bạn click chuột lên nút Switch to Library trên góc trên bên phải cửa sổ WMP để mở tới thư viện nhạc.

Bạn sẽ thấy tên file đang chơi xuất hiện trong danh sách Unsaved list. Bây giờ, bạn dùng trinh Explorer mở tới folder chứa các file nhạc muốn nghe, nhân giữ phím Ctrl (để chọn từng file riêng rẽ) hay nhấn giữ phím Shift (để chọn một nhóm file liên tục), rồi dùng trỏ chuột kéo nhóm file đó thả vào danh sách của WMP.

Bây giờ, trong danh sách Unsaved list của WMP đã có tên các file nhạc bạn mới thả vào. WMP sẽ ngoan ngoãn chơi lần lượt các bản nhạc đó cho bạn thưởng thức.

Ở WMP 9 và 10 (Windows XP), bạn chỉ việc mở một trình Explorer để duyệt tới folder chứa các file nhạc rồi chọn và kéo thả chúng vào danh sách WMP.

Nếu muốn nghe một lần thôi để lần khác chọn những bản nhạc khác, bạn cứ để cho WMP chơi bình thường.

Còn nếu muốn tạo một danh sách riêng cho các bản nhạc này để sau này dễ gọi lại, ở WMP 11 và 12, bạn chỉ việc nhấn lên dòng Unsaved list rồi đặt tên cho nhóm bản nhạc này. Ở WMP 9, bạn nhấn lên menu File và chọn lệnh Save playlist as.

Sau này, khi muốn chơi nhóm bản nhạc này, bạn chỉ việc chọn nó trong danh sách Playlists của WMP.
